Presentation of CIMV's team

🔦 This month, we put the light on CIMV, a french biorefinery.

CIMV's technology allows the separation without degradation, of the three main components of the lignocellulosic biomass: cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin; the organosolv lignin is used as raw material for LIFE-VIABLE project.
Organosolv lignin is extracted from different biomass : corn stover, sugar cane bagasse, wheat straw and hardwood at pilot scale and characterized to select the most appropriate one for the LIFE-VIABLE project targets.
